ABOUT
The Artist
Grunge Blackboard Transparent

Peter Luke originally became interested in music at the age at age of 5, while listening to his Granddad play the banjo at family gatherings.  He began formal study at age 13 and soon excelled in both Concert and Marching Band.

In 1975, Peter was awarded The Los Angeles Times Scholarship Award for Excellence in Musical Achievement.

Peter began to broaden and develop through the years, becoming an accomplished Woodwind player with his emphasis on Jazz Flute. It was during these years that Peter had the privilege to play with such legendary jazz/blues

figures as; “Big Moma” Willie Mae Thornton, Pianist George Lewis, and contemporary jazz artist, Gerald Albright.

In 1983, Peter re-affirmed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted his call to the Ministry.

Peter was ordained and Elder in The Church of God in Christ on June 11, 1993. After serving as an associate Minister, He then set out to start an Independent Ministry.  On April of 2008, Peter became

founder and Pastor of the Profession of Faith Church in Los Angeles California.

Peter still continues his passion and calling, to preach, and play inspirational Gospel music with his signature jazz twist.
